Due to an unexpected death in our extended church family, Trivia Night has been postponed for later in the fall.  We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to see you all later this year.
Join us Saturday night August 15th at sunset (8:25pm) for an old fashioned outdoor drive-in movie shown on the barn in the parking lot at the church. Listen on the Churchlights radio station from your car, or bring a lawn chair and listen to the movie on our speakers.

The movie is free, and popcorn and snacks will be available at a minimum cost, including a S'mores and hot dog cooking station over a campfire. Bring the whole family to the drive-in!

Games for kids of all ages will be available on the lawn. After the movie, pack up and head home or bring a tent or camper and sleep over in our first-ever camping night at the church.  Finish the weekend off outside and attend the outdoor service the next morning.  Please see Rob Haslett or contact the Church office for more details or to reserve a campsite.

Are you hurting from divorce?

Have you gone through a divorce? Have you groaned through a divorce? Or have you grown through your divorce? On February 14, Pleasant Hills UMC will offer a Divorce Recovery Seminar for those who are divorced or are in the process of divorcing. On Saturday, we’ll meet from 9:30 to 3 p.m. Child care will be provided. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. The book we’ll be using is called “Growing Through Divorce” by Jim Smoke. Books will be available to purchase.

Pre-Registration is important so we know how many to set up for and for the food. Please contact the church office to register or email. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for questions.

A service of repentance, pardon and remembrance will be held on Sunday evening, July 5th at 7pm. This meditative service will be held in the spirit of Taizé. We will remember our AME brothers and sisters who were killed in Charleston and repent of the ways in which we contribute to the sin of racism.

Join us on Sunday evenings starting January 25th for 10 weeks of Super Sundays starting at 4:30pm.  We are looking for new ideas for classes and volunteers to help with dinner.  The evening schedule will be as follows:

4:30pm - 5:30pm First Session
5:30pm - 6:30pm Dinner
6:30pm - 7:30pm Second Session

So far sessions include Bible study, Puppets, Bell Choir, Marriage enrichment course, Drama team, and Grief Recovery.
