Puppets for God is the puppet ministry of Pleasant Hills UMC. The puppet team consists of several members of our ChurchLights leadership team as well as other members of our church and the community.

In addition to making our light display more unique, our puppets make many appearances throughout the year and help to celebrate Jesus all year round. They host an annual dinner, compete in regional competitions, participate in community parades, and travel to other churches as far as Pennsylvania to enhance children's ministries. Read more about where you can find the puppets throughout the year below:

Don't miss the puppets every Sunday evening at ChurchLights.
As gold medal winners and multi-year people’s choice winners at regional competitions for Creative Ministry Solutions, our puppet team was excited to return to the 2016 competition as a featured performer and take our stick ministry for the first time ever to competition.
Our puppet team frequently makes appearances in local parades. Check back to see where you might find us next!

Check back later for more information about the 2018 Dinner with the puppets program!

Have dinner with the puppets on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 6:30PM. Featuring performances by our award winning puppet team in an all new show called Puppets Go "Praisey" (a humorous look at what we all do at church). Show includes music and lightening by ChurchLights!
